hi guys

i had my tribunal yesterday afternoon and i was told that they agreed with every word i had written in the letter for my mandatory reconsideration and I was awarded 15 points for daily living and 10 for mobility. the judge told me it was one of the best letters he had ever read!

I am so pleased. It shows how flawed the system is. i scored 0 points in both the original decision and reconsideration.

i wrote the letter from the guides you provide about challenging a decision. as weird as it felt awarding myself points, i was so glad I wrote it the way I did.

they basically said they agreed with what i'd written and weren't going to ask me any questions. I was shown back to the waiting area and the judge handed me the notification a few mins later

thank you so much - i doubt i would have been successful without your help!

Hi S,

Congratulations on your successful PIP Appeal !! :cheer:

Well done for challenging the original adverse decision and winning !

Thanks for your positive feedback regarding B&W !! :)

If your Standard Rate Mobility Award was for "Moving Around" this gives you automatic entitlement to a Blue Badge, and a 50% reduction in the cost of annual Road Tax for a car that you drive or have the use/benefit of :

See just over half way down : This Page.

Under the heading : Vehicle tax reduction.
