Hi all,
I've not posted before as thanks to the B&W mental health DLA guide for adults being so in depth and user friendly I've not had anything that I've been unsure on, but wanted to share my result with everyone.
My previous award was 2 year MRC and LRM, ended 2/12/2013.
I got my renewal pack in summer and couldn't find a FtoF place to help me fill out the form in my new town, so subscribed here.
I have bipolar disorder with psychosis and complex psychological problems. The form took me 4 months to fill in as did it a few pages at a time and stopped when I felt overwhelmed, I added two recent copies of letters from psychiatrist appointments and posted on 22/11/2013.
On 30/11/2013 I received a brown envelope and assumed it was acknolowging receipt of my renewal, however it was my award - HRC and LRM until 02/12/2018!!!!!!
Thank you B&W so much and I will definitely continuing membership as I'm sure when the time comes to sort out ESA and the change to PIP in a few years your guides will be just as valuable then
